Five Senses of Eros (2009)

The South Korean drama Five Senses of Eros (2009) is comprised of five short films from five different directors, each highlighting ideas of love and desire. There’s "His Concern" where the generically-named Man (Jang Hyuk) crosses paths with the equally generically named Woman (Cha Hyun-jung) on a train. They exchange glances and phone numbers before he gets off at her stop so they can spend more time together. In "I'm Right Here" Hye-rim (Cha Soo-yeon) and Hyeon-woo (Kim Kang-woo) are a husband-and-wife pair that worry what would happen if their spouse ended up alone. "The 33rd Man" is all about aspiring actress Mi-jin (Kim Min-sun) and veteran performer Hwa-ran (Bae Jong-ok) who commiserate over a demanding director and decide they'll just seduce him to make him act right. "In My End is My Beginning" is a dark tale where Jae-in's (Hwang Jung-min) death in a car crash leads his wife Jung-ha (Uhm Jung-hwa) to discover that he was having an affair with her old high school friend. And last but not least, "Believe in the Moment" centers around Na-ru (Kim Hyo-jin) and her six high school students and close friends who decide to swap partners for twenty-four hours. We believe the best moment in the movie is when Jang Hyuk bares his buns while banging his woman! It's a very romantic, candlelit sex session that his girl sure sounds like she's enjoying!
