The offspring of Emmy-winning Succession star Brian Cox, and Survivors (1975) actress Caroline Burt, Alan Cox is two parts actor, ten parts sexy. This engaging Englishman was born in London, where he was well educated at St. Paul’s School. While as a kid he joined his dad in stuff like The Devil's Crown, Alan wasn't exactly going to get starstruck at family dinner, since soon into his career he was joining Laurence Olivier in the TV movie A Voyage Round My Father (1982), and Timothy Dalton in an adaptation of Jane Eyre. The film follows a pair of estranged sisters who inherit their father’s nudist colony, and features Alan as a naughty nudist who appears in various states of undress throughout. His character, Cory, is very friendly – and we’d love to make friends with him as he struts around showing off his plump patootie.
