Anthem Moss seems like a made-up name, and it kind of is. Born in Thessaloniki, Greece, as Anthimos Ananiadis, the actor must have thought it was a mouthful, and he shortened and twisted it to come up with Anthem Moss. And speaking of a mouthful… In the short film Foreign Relations (2014), a US, Greece, and Croatia project, Anthem played the role of tough-talking Niko, an uncircumcised male who would like to study what a circumcised penis looks like. He shares his privates in flashes behind a way-too-tiny washrag—and let Mr. Man just say that Anthem is perfectly proportioned everywhere. The actor studied at the National Drama School of Athens and the New York Film Academy, and has been going back and forth between Hollywood and Greece, appearing in productions for both countries.
