Aquaman (2018)

After entertaining fans with Man of Steel (2013), Suicide Squad (2016), Justice League (2017) and Wonder Woman (2017), DC Comics extended its universe with the action fantasy Aquaman (2018). As the titular superhero, Jason Momoa is half Atlantean, half human, and totally sexy! Also known as Arthur Curry, Aquaman must lead the underwater kingdom of Atlantis. The only trouble is his half-brother King Orm (Patrick Wilson) is trying to unit seven other underwater kingdoms to destroy the world. This gives new depths to family dysfunction — especially since Atlanna (Nicole Kidman), the Queen of Atlantis, must choose to between her two sons. Throw in ruthless pirate Black Manta (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II) and you’ve got problems. Other key characters include Nuidis Vulko (Willem Dafoe) and Captain Murk (Ludi Lin) as well as Nereus (Dolph Lundgren), the king of Xebel and his daughter Princess Mera (Amber Heard). No doubt, the royal lady has the hydrokinetic hots for Aquaman since he has super strength and can communicate with sea creatures. He’s also a pretty good smoocher. Why else would Mr. Momoa and Ms. Heard be nominated for Best Kiss at the MTV Movie & TV Awards? Despite the fact that this flick received lukewarm reviews from film critics, it was on fire at the box office — surpassing the lifetime totals of each Marvel Cinematic Universe pic. Mr. Man’s spank bank also became overheated thanks to the movie’s coverage of Jason’s tattooed guns and muscular chest. Suffice it to say, Jason is making us Mo-moan-a!
