Beloved (1998)

Beloved (1998) is a moderately terrifying drama about a former slave and her fragmented family during the Civil War era. Sethe, played by the one and only Oprah Winfrey, lives on the outskirts of Cincinatti in a house that's haunted by spirits. She used to live on a plantation in Kentucky, where she was repeatedly abused and beaten by the plantation owner Schoolteacher. When she's captured after an early escape, she loses her husband and kills one of her daughters in an attempt to saver her from a horribe life on the plantation. Now, at her house, a poltergiest holding the spirit of her dead daughter has come to haunt her, and not even an attractive man named Paul D (Danny Glover) can save her. It's truly unforunate too, because based on his beloved bare butt from a sensational bathtub scene (and round of super hot sex), we'd really, really like him to stay—and we'd bet Sethe would too.
