Blue Mountain State (2010-2011)

Obviously, you appreciated the jokes more if you were balls deep into college football, but Spike TV’s original sitcom Blue Mountain State provided plenty of laughs for even non-sports fans throughout the three seasons it aired. Debuting in 2010, the show takes a no holds bar approach to slapstick college humor, following a group of rowdy boys whose lives consist of football, girls, sex, football, girls, sex, and later in the final season football, girls, and sex! The Blue Mountain State Mountain Goats are a college football powerhouse known for winning on the field and scoring off of it. The wildest players, including quarterback Alex Moran (Darin Brooks), linebacker Thad Castle (Alan Ritchson), and team mascot Sammy (Chris Romano) all live together at "The Goat House" which is ground zero for some baaaaad behavior. From a kicker who needs to score drugs to split the uprights (James Cade), to a cougar (Chantal Quesnelle) who refuses to remain upright if any player shows her the time of day, viewers couldn't get enough of this unique mix of frat boy humor and Friday Night Lights style football drama. Mr. Man's more into skin than pigskin so, believe it or not, it’s the plot lines that don't involve football that interest us the most. At one point, the freshmen bros get a little bromo thanks to the bizarre initiation challenges thought up by Alan Ritchson. In one unforgettable scene, we watch as Sam Jones III, Darin Brooks, Alan, and series producer and star Chris Romano shimmy across the football field in just jock straps with a cookie between their cheeks. Yum, that's some nice bum! That's the booty of a five-star recruit! As if that wasn’t enough, the guys have to shave each other’s butts in a locker room scene that gives us plenty of frothy shirtless action. Our red Solo cup runneth over. The cut, tall glass of water Alan Ritchson has his hand on his junk in the locker room while demonstrating some strange peeing technique, while it was Page Kennedy who had our dick feeling patriotic when he hung out in some tight red, white and blue skivvies. Rob Ramsay added some plus size fun as a mammoth dude hanging out in a towel, while Erick Meslier ends up tied to a tree with a foam finger lodged up his butt. Truly the GOAT of college football comedies, Blue Mountain State will have you itching to mount a football player!
