Bordertown (2016-2020)

Bordertown (called Sorjonen in its native Finland) is a crime drama set on the Finnish-Russian border in the small town of Lappeenranta. Detective Sorjonen has been working in the capital for years and is renowned for his work - but when his wife barely survives a bout of brain cancer, he decides to slow down and spend more time with his family. Unfortunately, life in Lappeenranta is even more perplexing than the big city - there's a serial killer living in the town, and its location makes it particularly tumultuous.

There's tons of Finnish eye candy here from Elias Salonen, who goes shirtless in bed with a lucky blonde several times, plus the scruffy Ilkka Villi, who rolls around in the sheets with his own love interest too. Heikki Ranta spends some time shirtless before becoming a victim himself, and Jaako Saariluoma goes balls out on an autopsy table.
