Chocolate City (2015)

The tagline for the film Chocolate City (2015) asks "Are You Ready For the Real Magic," an obvious knock at the smash hit film Magic Mike (2012), which is the closest comparison for this film by far. But if we're being honest, it was melanin, not magic that the Channing Tatum flick was missing, which is the issue director Jean-Claude La Marre sought to remedy with his black male stripper movie. Robert Ri'chard plays Mike (yup, Mike), a down on his luck college student whose fortunes change when he meets Princeton (Michael Jai White), the owner of a tremendously successful male strip club. When Princeton offers Mike a job, the college boy transforms into "Sexy Chocolate," a highly sought after dancing dude. But along with trying to keep his dirty gig from his super religious mom (Vivica Foxx), he soon finds himself in over his head as he must keep pace with such professionals as Rude Boy (Tyson Beckford), the current star of the show. It's a dog-eat-dog world in the sausage-fest stripper game, and everyone's just trying to get a bone! Speaking of bones, check out all the hot man meat on display, including some amazing stripper routines from Robert Ri'chard, Tyson Beckford, Brian Massey, Bolo the Entertainer, Ginuwine, Gilbert Saldivar, and Darrin Dewitt Henson, all of whom show off their bulges while dancing in their undies! We'd love to give them a kiss, and we don't mean Hershey's! There are all the male stripper classic routines here: army men, tuxes, firefighters, but these sexy black men give them a little extra color! Tyson and Darrin even go the extra mile, lowering their speedos and showing off a little ass! Just be careful you don't end up with chocolate poisoning... if that's even a real thing! Magic Mike is great, but as the old saying goes, once you go.....Chocolate City, you never go back!
