Deadpool 2 (2018)

Here at the Mr. Man offices, Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) is far and away our favorite superhero and antihero. If you’ve seen his R-rated, ass-out shenanigans in the original Deadpool movie (2016), you’ll understand why. In fact, we were excited for this sequel ever since we got a gander at its trailer. The comical coming attraction pokes fun at Superman by having Deadpool attempt to change into his spandex outfit in a telephone booth. The uneasy task has Ryan pressing his bare buns against the glass! With a flesh flash like that, it’s no wonder the ad won Best Comedy TV Spot from the Golden Trailer Awards. In Deadpool 2 (2018), Mr. Reynolds reprises his role as the foul-mouthed titular character on screen and as one of the spectacularly snarky screenwriters behind the camera. Dopinder (Karan Soni) and Blind Al (Leslie Uggams) are also back for the wild ride. Based on the Deadpool comic books by Fabian Nicieza and Rob Liefeld, this action-packed installment has Wade Wilson (Reynolds) reeling from the murder of his fiancée Vanessa (Morena Baccarin). After unsuccessfully trying to off himself, Wade/Deadpool checks into the X mansion where he agrees to join the X-Men team. As he tries to find a time-traveling device to revive Vanessa, Deadpool banters with Cable (Josh Brolin), Black Tom Cassidy (Jack Kesy), Domino (Zazie Beetz), Negasonic Teenage Warhead (Brianna Hildebrand), and Russell Collins/Firefist (Julian Dennison). We can’t tell you how the movie ends, but we can say we’re waiting with masturbated breath for Deadpool 3!
