Edmond (2005)

Screenwriter David Mamet and his frequent collaborator, actor William H. Macy, come under the tutelage of cult-horror director Stuart Gordon in Edmond (2005). Although decidedly less gore-sopped than Gordon's best-loved efforts (Re-Animator [1985] and Dagon [2001]), Edmond does plumb dark territory, tracing Macy, in the title role, having his mind blown by a fortune teller and unraveling from an upright businessman to a deranged sociopath in short order. Macy loses his shirt revealing his chest mane, and also shows off his turbulent tushy in a prison scene. But we wish William would have let us see his little prisoner!
