Daniel Kaluuya

I'll be the first to admit it - I did a double take when I saw Jordan Peele's name attached to horror movie headlines back when the production of this film was announced. He's a veritable king of comedy, and it isn't everyday that comedians start writing and directing serious horror movies based on social issues. Alas, here we are - and it looks AWESOME.

Jordan Peele

Anywho, there is apparently a strong link between writing comedy and writing horror (take a commonplace event and raise the stakes), and Peele wanted to create a horror movie that made a commentary on what it's like being a black man today. The basic plot is this: Daniel Kaluuya (of Skins fame), plays Chris, a black man dating a white woman (played by Allison Williams of Girls). He's apprehensive about visiting her white parents, and when gets to their massive estate, it turns out they're kidnapping and hypnotizing black people.

We have no idea why or what specifically is done with said black people, but it's a terrifying trailer. I encourage you to watch it and get as pumped as I am. And after all, this IS a horror movie - there has to be nudity of some kind.
