Fantastic Four (2005)

The early 2000's really laid the foundation for the comic book movie takeover just a decade later, so even if movies like Fantastic Four (2005) aren't as beloved as the MCU stuff that came after it, the film deserves its respect. In this 20th Century Fox production, a group of scientists head up to space so they can study the effects of cosmic energy. Of course, things go awry and turn the gang into superheroes with their own unique powers. There's the group's leader Dr. Reed Richards (Ioann Gruffudd) who becomes the super stretchy Mr. Fantastic, Ben Grimm (Michael Chicklis) who got screwed when it came to powers since he turns into the giant monster knows as The Thing, Sue Storm (Jessica Alba) who can turn herself invisible, and her wildcard brother Johnny Storm (Chris Evans) who ignites into flames as the Human Torch. Now known as "The Fantastic Four" they must save the world from Dr. Doom (Julian MacMahon), a metal bodied, electricity controlling psychopath who wants to use his new powers to rule with an iron fist. Critics hated this one and Marvel is constantly rebooting the team and ignoring this film, which is a shame because it had some great stuff. Captain America? No, Mr. Man knew America's ass well before those movies. In his original marvelous Marvel work, Chris Evans is pumped up and on fire as the Human Torch, but alas, his clothes only burn off once, leaving him topless and not too toasty. He lands in the snow, which creates a pretty cool little hot tub. Nothing is as hot as seeing him run around using a parka to block his cock! We're happy to fap to Cap, but Chris was way hotter as the Human Torch. The bulky and buff Michael Chiklis is shirtless for a lot of the movie and orange and stony for the rest.  Either way, it’s clobberin’ time. Fantastic Four is fantastic for skin!
