Fifty Shades Darker (2017)

Despite the title's indication that things may indeed get steamier this time around, Fifty Shades Darker (2017) somehow ends up being more tame than its predecessor Fifty Shades of Grey (2015)! Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson are back as Christian and Anastasia, whose relationship heats up despite the many red flags going off around them! These problems are exacerbated by Ana's boss (Eric Johnson) showing more than a passing interest in her as well as a mysterious woman (Kim Basinger) from Christian's past who keeps turning up at the worst moments! It's all very sexy, but sadly devoid of a lot of skin! Jamie Dornan does at least bare his ass in four different sex scenes, but those hoping he might go whole hog here might just have to wait for 2018's Fifty Shades Freed!
