Game of Thrones (2011-2019)

Based on the still unfinished "A Song Ice and Fire" series of fantasy novels from George R.R. Martin, HBO's epic series Game of Thrones was a genuine pop culture sensation for the eight seasons it ran from 2011 to 2019. Eventually all these stories will collide as palace intrigue and constant backstabbing mix with magic and myth combined in a uniquely beloved fantasy epic. But what had Mr. Man tuning in every week wasn't the fantasy elements, it was the fantasies all the macho medieval men had him dreaming up.
