In the Dark (2017)

Based on Mark Billingham's series of novels, In the Dark (2016) is a UK TV series about a cop investigating a potential kidnapping in her hometown, who comes to find that it involves a bunch of her former buddies. DI Helen Weeks (MyAnna Buring) is pregnant and kind of pissed off about it when she's tasked with heading back home to Polesford to investigate the disappearance of two schoolgirls. While the local cop (Ashley Walters) would love to arrest the obvious suspect (Daniel Scott), he's Helen's ex-best friend Linda's (Emma Fryer) husband. Helen's convinced he's innocent, but the former school bully might be compromised considering how much Linda brings up some event from the past that Helen doesn't want to talk about. Will she solve the crime or is her old baggage going to derail the case? In the show's second half, that whole thing is resolved, so a still preggo Helen heads to Manchester to deal with the cities' gang violence problem. Mr. Man is quick to direct you to any scene that'll have you erect, but this show didn't have a heck of a lot of them. The bodacious Ben Batt plays the cop boyfriend we're led to believe put the baby in Helen's belly, though there are a few other suspects. The onetime Shameless star shows off his killer body that looks so good it practically glows In the Dark. We see him shirtless as he shows off his undies and the impressive bulge that is packaged in there while he strips down to go to sleep. We'd love to unwrap that package and see Ben's banger! We'll go ahead and leave the lights on while doing it with the dudes from In the Dark!
