Intimate Affairs (2002)

Let’s talk about sex bay-bee. That’s what Edgar Breton and a bunch of his surrealist artist buddies did back in the 1920's when they created the book Investigating Sex: Surrealist Research 1928-1932. Seven centuries later, writer-director Alan Rudolph read all the discussions in that book and decided it'd be fun to make a movie about the event that led to that book, which he did with Intimate Affairs (2002), also known as Investigating Sex. In the film, Edgar Faldo (Dermot Mulroney) is a college professor living in 1920's Cambridge Massachusetts. Edgar is convinced that no one is discussing sex with the importance that its due, so he gathers some friends and two young secretaries at the home of a tycoon (Nick Nolte) to discuss the matter without any exaggeration or jokes. The flirtatious Zoe (Robin Tunney) and the more timid Alice (Neve Campbell) are supposed to act as stenographers, writing down everything these brilliant men have to say. But it's not long before they feel the need to add their two cents from the female perspective of fornication. While guys like us have been using the pause button and a magnifying glass to investigate since he first hit the screen in Sunset (1988), Mulroney has kept fans guessing about his girth his entire career. He finally answers all our questions here with a full-frontal assault. While listening to him lecture, one of the secretaries begins to imagine Edgar naked. The fantasy fulfillment begins with his bodacious backside but doesn’t stop there. In a true “its coming right at me” moment, Mulroney turns and walks toward the camera. His delightful dong and buoyant balls are framed by a thick dark man bush. The gentle sway of his mandangler is hypnotic. German beefcake Til Schweiger didn't make us wait nearly as long til he flashed ass. Til's tush makes an appearance as he thrusts into some babe, letting us see his butt crack through a crack in the door. But with all due respect to those two, Joseph May just may be pleasuring his lady even more in a wild sex scene with a gorgeous blonde. His girl is begging for him to go faster, but Mr. Man appreciates the slow look at him putting in the work! Even if you're no sexpert, Intimate Affairs will have you investigating how many times you can touch yourself over the course of a single movie!
