We can’t get our fill of Kurt Fuller — even though the 6’ 3” actor repeatedly fills up the big (Wayne’s World) and small (Desperate Housewives) screens. Yes, Kurt is one of those performers who everyone recognizes, but few know by name. Perhaps that’s because he doesn’t possess traditional leading man looks. Nor did the California guy take a direct path to fame. After attending UC Berkley, Fuller spent ten years working as a realtor to pay the bills while taking any acting job he could get. But by the late 1980s all of that changed with Elvira, Mistress of the Dark (1988), Red Heat (1988), and Ghostbusters II (1989). Through the years, Kurt has appeared in more than 200 productions and has worked with some of the biggest names in Hollywood. Check him out alongside Tom Hanks and Bruce Willis in Brian De Palma’s satire The Bonfire of the Vanities (1990) and Jake Gyllenhaal and James Brolin in David O. Russell’s rom-com Accidental Love (2015). In between, Kurt could be seen playing Werner Klemperer in Paul Schrader’s kinky biopic Auto Focus (2002) and Karl Rove on the sitcom That’s My Bush! (2001). Of course, we’re more turned on by his Speedo-clad turn in Scary Movie (2000). The topless talent clearly isn’t shy about showing off his hairy chest, even if it’s just for a laugh. Kurt went for it again in the R-rated romp Van Wilder: Freshman Year (2009) wherein he reveals his rear! Mr. Fuller’s fanny should graduate with honors!
