Life Partners (2014)

A hunk gets in the way of a lifelong friendship in the romantic comedy Life Partners (2014). Paige (Gillian Jacobs) and Sasha (Leighton Meester) are BFFs that relish in their codependent relationship, something that has held both of them back in life. The two chicks do everything together—hike, march in the local gay pride parade (Sasha is gay), hang out with their friends, watch crappy reality television show, drink wine—so they really don’t have time for anyone else. Everything changes when the gals decide to give Internet dating a chance. Paige strikes gold with Tim (Adam Brody), a nerdy doctor with a kind heart and a nice set of abs. While Paige and Tim hit it off immediately, Sasha doesn’t have similar luck, with Paige preoccupied with her new dude, Sasha’s life starts to fall apart. Fearing that she’s losing her best friend, Sasha does her best to amp up her relationship with Paige. There are more laughs than skin, but seeing Adam Brody minus his shirt is no laughing matter!
