Sam Elliott might be the sexy GILF cowboy of your most erotic dreams, but he wasn't always that way. Back in 1976 Sam was still in his prime, and the California born dreamboat hadn't yet fully committed to the onscreen cowboy life when he made Lifeguard (1976). Far from the action heavy type of lifeguard stuff we'd see a few decades later on Baywatch, this one stars Sam as Rick Carlson, a 32-year-old lifeguard living a carefree life of fun in the sun. There's not all that much action on the beach, aside from the occasional visit to his chair from Wendy (Kathleen Quinlan), the jailbait seventeen-year-old lusting after him all day. When he goes to his 15-year high school reunion and runs into his recently divorced and now single again high school girlfriend Cathy (Anne Archer), the old flames reignite and Rick finds himself thinking about a more stable and “serious” life with her. Take your pick Rick: become a cubicle monkey to stay with Anne or continue hanging on the beach picking up bikini babes. Choose wisely! Sam was 32, the same age as his character when the movie was filmed, and while he aged incredibly well you won't believe what he looked like back in the seventies. At work, our sexy lifesaver wears little more than a Speedo which puts his fantastic body on full display. Mr. Man would love to blow him everytime he blows his whistle! During one race scene, Sam’s Speedo is so tight it leaves little to the imagination. You can see the Hulk he is smuggling in his shorts, and it will have so worked up you will be ready to handle your Big Lebowski. Sam doesn’t get fully naked in this movie, but there are plenty of beautiful shots of his sweet, lean, tan body and he looks so good running on the beach, swimming and just being hot that you will fake a drowning just so you can get him to pull you to shore. At one point, we even see a bit of his buns when he bends over in a towel! The voice, the stache, and a body that hadn't yet been ravaged by the effects of time? Sam Elliott will have you harder than you've ever been in your life watching Lifeguard!
