Man in an Orange Shirt (2017)

Leave it to BBC Two to offer two colorful love stories in  Man In An Orange Shirt (2017). Not to be confused with the British comedy The Man in the White Suit (1951), this two-part miniseries conveys the highs and lows of gay relationships in the 20th and 21st centuries. Based on English author Patrick Gale’s own family history, the drama won an International Emmy Award for Best TV Movie or Miniseries. The romantic saga focuses on two generations of couples: Captain Michael Berryman (Oliver Jackson-Cohen) and Captain Thomas March (James McArdle) just after World War II, and Adam (Julian Morris) and Steve (David Gyasi) in the present day. Luckily, we get to see plenty of these gents without their clothes. Captain Berryman and Captain March enjoy hardcore porking in an erotic scene that shows off Oliver’s ass. Forget Captains Courageous, it’s more like Captains bi-Curious! Did we mention that Mr. Jackson-Cohen and Mr. McArdle also bare their hairy chests during a post-coital embrace in bed? Watching these sexy soldiers smooch has Mr. Man giving a salute in his pants!
