He got his degree in Economics from Columbia University before he decided to really get paid in Hollywood. He’s an actor, director, producer, writer, and a seriously sexy stud. He also created, wrote, produced, and directed Superstition, and directed several episodes of Damages. On the little screen, you can also see his work behind the camera on shows like Law & Order, Boss, Nashville, Once Upon a Time, Chicago P.D., Being Mary Jane, Empire, and Power—among many others. On the big screen, he directed New Jack City (1991) with Wesley Snipes, All Things Fall Apart (2011) with 50 Cent, and USS Indianapolis: Men of Courage (2016) with Nicolas Cage. In front of the camera, he’s starred as a dancer in Francis Ford Coppola’s The Cotton Club (1984), Corporal Stitch Jones in Clint Eastwood’s Heartbreak Ridge (1986), and Malcom X in Ali (2001).
