Back before he was one of the most sought-after directors in the world, Christopher Nolan first made a name for himself with the mind-bending mystery Memento (2000). Based on a short story his brother Jonathan Nolan published in Esquire, if Mr. Man remembers correctly the story centers around Leonard (Guy Pearce), a man with a rare form of amnesia that means he can't form new memories. To make up for it, he constantly takes Polaroids and labels them, and tattoos his body with any information that's going to be permanently relevant. Leonard remembers that his first his wife has been murdered and that he's trying to track down the killer who is still at large. With the help of a cop named Teddy (Joe Pantoliano), Leonard uses his notes and the words he’s tattooed all over himself to search for the man. Way before Tenet (2020) threw filmmaking into reverse, this flick's confusing structure had filmgoers scratching their heads. The source of tons of breakdowns and explanation outlines you can find online, the itch you'll be needing to scratch while watching this one is the intense desire to see Guy Pierce naked. Guy's body is covered in tattoos, which has us reading his six pack abs like a romance novel. But the best scene comes when our guy, Guy, is in the shower and gets attacked by a mysterious ASS-ailant. After jumping out of the shower to fight the dude off, there’s a brief gluttial gaze before he wraps a towel around his luscious lower half. One night with Guy would blow Mr. Man's mind! That ass is unforgettable in Memento
