The marvelous Michael Fishman has had a bunch of interesting careers over the course of his life. He's been a baseball player and coach, tracked down fugitives with the state of California, and designed sets for the documentary series Sports Science. But Michael will forever be known for playing D.J. Conner as a seven year old on Roseanne, then returning to the role in his late thirties and playing it all the way to 41 years old on The Conners. Quite a gap, but the wait was worth the fap. Though there was a long hiatus in between. Michael landed the role of Roseanne Barr's youngest son as a child, then stuck with it from 1988 all the way to 1997. During that time, he also appeared on an episode of Seinfeld, moved on to appear in an episode of Walker, Texas Ranger and had a small role in A.I. Artificial Intelligence (2001). Then, at around twenty years of age, Michael left the acting world. He produced some TV shows, was Roseanne Barr's sidekick on her talk show The Roseanne Show, and worked on the production staff for both The Real Roseanne Show and her comedy special Roseanne Barr: Blonde and Bitchin' (2006). In 2018, Roseanne got revived and Michael was back as D.J. But long gone was the punk little kid we grew up with. In his place was a full grown man, who Mr. Man growing in the pants. Yes, D.J. had us playing our skin flute, especially when he competed on Battle of the Network Stars. In a memorable episode, Michael is shirtless and ready to go swimming in his sexy red swim trunks. His chest has an impressive tuft of black hair that looks fantastic on his firm, alabaster bod. After looking at Michael, it rose, man! Roseanne got herself cancelled on twitter, so her show was cancelled, they killed her character off, and Michael joined the rest of the cast on the Roseanne-free but everything else was the same sitcom The Conners. In 2022, Michael announced he was done as D.J. and would be pursuing other creative endeavors. Maybe he'll do some work that's more sexual in nature. We're hooked on Michael Fishman!
