Manly Michael Ontkean comes from Canada which means he’s hot! Indeed, the people of the Great White North need hunks to keep them warm over the long winter months. Luckily, the comely Canuck shares his smoldering sensuality with the world at large via motion pictures (Voices, Maid to Order, Just a Little Harmless Sex) and television (The Partridge Family, The Outer Limits, The Stepford Husbands). Of course, the arresting thespian is best known for playing Officer Willie Gillis on the crime drama The Rookies (1972-1974) and Sheriff Harry S. Truman on David Lynch’s head-scratching series Twin Peaks (1990-1991). The latter paid off with a Soap Opera Digest Award nomination for Outstanding Hero: Prime Time. Speaking of soaps, the boob tube babe portrayed Gordon Matthews on North Shore (2004-2005). Over on the big screen, Mike collaborated with respected directors Paul Mazursky, Mike Nichols, and Alexander Payne for the dramedies Willie & Phil (1980), Postcards from the Edge (1990), and The Descendants (2011), respectively. But it’s the hilarious hockey flick Slap Shot (1977) that excites us the most since Michael parades his pecs and be-thonged butt cheeks on ice. Score! Alas, the nearly nude dude is covering up his Stanley Cup. Perhaps that’s why Mr. Man is partial to Mr. Ontkean’s part in Making Love (1982). Directed by Arthur Hiller, the gay drama showcases Michael’s bare chest and same-sex preference for co-star Harry Hamlin. Despite the film being a financial flop, watching these guys get busy in bed will make your box office rise!
