Misfits (2009-2013)

Robert Sheehan, Antonia Thomas, Lauren Socha, Iwan Rheon, and Nathan Stewart-Jarrett are five teenage delinquents who are doing community service together when they are suddenly struck by lightning and receive superpowers in the UK TV series Misfits. Debuting in 2009 and lasting five seasons, this British hit centered around our troubled teens who each have their own unique power. The Irish shoplifter Nathan (Robert Sheehan) is immortal and can see ghosts, Simon the bullied arsonist (Iwan Rheon) can make himself invisible, Kelly (Lauren Socha) the fistfighting bad girl can read minds, Curtis (Nathan Stewart-Jarrett) the kid doing community service for buying drugs can push things with his mind, Alisha (Antonia Thomas) the skanky drunk driver can send dudes into a sexual frenzy on command, Rudy (Joe Gilgun) the angry car vandalizer can split himself into three separate people, Jess (Karla Crome) can see through walls, and Finn (Nathan McMullen) can move stuff with his mind. They're all teen delinquents, so it's not surprising these Misfits tend to misuse their powers and that all sorts of drama, jealousy and romance get in their way of becoming a super team of superpowered crimefighters.
