Frivolous Lola (1998)

Famed Italian filmmaker Tinto Brass’ bawdy and erotic comedy Monella (1998) aka Frivolous Lola is set in the 1950s and follows Lola (Anna Ammirati), the teenage daughter of Zaira (Serena Grandi), a widow living in a small town nestled in the western Alps of Italy. With her youthful beauty and sex appeal, Lola has quickly become engaged to Masetto (Max Parodi), a young and handsome dude who is deeply in love. Even though Lola is equally in love with Masetto, she has a burning interest in having sex—an interest that is further flamed by her libertine stepfather André (Patrick Mower).
