My Tutor (1983)

The classic comedy My Tutor (1983) centers on Bobby Chrystal (Matt Lattanzi), a high school senior who desperately wants to lose his virginity, but dipping his dingus in a gal is the least of his worries; to make it to Yale in the fall, he must retake his French exam that he has failed. Bobby’s father (Kevin McCarthy) hires Terry (Caren Kaye), a sexy tutor, to live in the Chrystal home for the summer and help him pass his exam. At first, she just wants to conjugate verbs, while he wants to learn how to French kiss. But after Terry’s boyfriend breaks up with her, it's only a matter of time before he's sticking his baguette in her warm, wet pastry. Even though Bobby passes the exam, it’s not happily ever after, especially since Mr. Chrystal has developed a thing for the tutor, which leads to heated dust up between father and son. And when Bobby’s old girlfriend Bonnie (Amber Denyse Austin) enters the picture, the summer fling soon burns out. Thanks to Matt Lattanzi and Crispin Glover, we get a healthy dose of shirtless action, the likes of which will be burned in your memory for decades to come.
