Nashville (1975)

Nashville (1975) is the classic film from Robert Altman’s classic mid-1970s period of filmmaking. It just takes place over a few days, but the intermingling story lines combine to tale a sordid tale of America. Sure, there’s some good music along the way. Some of the best is sung Keith Carradine, but we believe his best body of work may be his body. There are a couple of scenes—dare we suggest an A side and a B side?—where the Carradine magic most brightly shines. One is where he is shirtless and we see his naked chest. The other is when Keith gets out of bed to take a call and we connect with his ass. You’ll have to choose which is the A side and which is the B side. They’re all hits for us.
