The two-part Australian miniseries Never Tear Us Apart: The Untold Story of INXS (2014) tells the story of the titular rock band. Luke Arnold stars as the late Michael Hutchence, the band’s lead singer and unbelievably handsome rock god. Framed in the typical tale of sex, drugs, rock and roll and tragedy, the melodrama promises to give an authentic behind-the-scenes at INXS’ humble beginnings as a garage band to their rise as a mega-stadium-filling super group to their demise with the untimely death of Hutchence in 1997.
