The bizarre psychological thriller Nobody Knows Anybody (1999) follows fledging novelist Simón Cárdenas (Eduardo Noriega), a crossword puzzle creator for a local newspaper, living with a spoiled rich brat Sapo (Jordi Molla). One day Simón’s life gets turned upside down when he receives an odd phone call informing him that if he doesn’t include the word “adversary” in his next crossword puzzle that there will be dire consequences. All hell breaks loose when a nerve gas is spilled at a local church, forcing the crossword creator into a real-life computer game on the streets of Seville. Simón teams up with sexy journalist María (Nataia Verbeke) to try to figure out who is behind all the trippy chaos.

While the odd film may be filled with suspense and plot twists, the nudity is next to nil. We get a brief look at Eduardo Noriega’s body as he gets sexy with his gal pal. What’s a ten letter word that best describes Mr. Man’s feeling for not being able to see more of Eduardo’s flesh? “Frustrated”!
