Perception (2012-2014)

In case you needed another crime drama series showcasing the crime solving techniques of a weirdo, the TNT Network has given us Perception. The show follows Dr. Daniel Pierce (Eric McCormack), an eccentric neuroscience professor who is recruited by the FBI to help solve complex criminal cases. The doc’s intuitive and brilliant understanding of the human mind helps the bureau solve a lot of cases, which is great and all, but Mr. Smarty Pants suffers from paranoid schizophrenia. He’s crazy (and hot) as fox! You can’t have a detective drama without a cute chick, so Rachael Leigh Cook co-stars as FBI agent Kate Moretti, Pierce’s former student who recruited him to help catch bad dudes. There’s a lot of psychological mumbo jumbo mixed with FBI-speak, but there’s very little skin. In season three, episode five, Peter Coyote gets completely nude and saunters down the stairs. His good parts are block by the banister, but if you like old dude skin, you’ll be in liver spot heaven. Sexy!
