Biography

The perfect Peter Onorati was born in Boonton, New Jersey, where he dominated the athletic fields as a high schooler. After playing college football at Lycoming College, he tried out for the World Football League, then took to comedy where his truest talents shone through. Peter made his onscreen debut in the TV series ABC Afterschool Specials in 1986, then landed the role of building attendant Lou Carello on the CBS sitcom Kate & Allie. After becoming a TV mainstay thanks to that divorced women living together TV show, Peter must have thought he really hit it big when he was cast as Detective Vincent LaRusso on the unique but awful police musical comedy Cop Rock and Charlie Howell on the divorce court drama Civil Wars. Critics liked the divorce show, but audiences didn't so it got the hook after just two seasons. Everyone hated the cop show, so it only lasted eleven episodes. Our favorite place to see Peter show some skin came on an episode of Tales from the Crypt called "Only Skin Deep." It's a super scary one about a masked woman who may be a real monster. Still, we get a great look at Peter’s perfect pecs when he appears in just his underwear for a tryst with the blonde babe. Then we get to see Peter’s super tight tush when this masked couple bangs on the floor! The masks are creepy, but at least Peter's getting some tail! The highly rated Mr. Onorati moved on to some B movies like Just Looking (1999) and Pedestrian (2000), while doing TV shows like Sex and the City where he was a wrestling coach, American Dreams where he played Dom, and Everybody Hates Chris where he was Coach Brantley. Most recently Peter has been all over the small screen as LAPD Sergeant Jeff Mumford on S.W.A.T. and Jack's dad Stanley Pearson on This is Us, though he also hit the pseudo big screen movie streaming scene by playing Vittorio on Amazon Video's Being the Ricardos (2021). These days you can see him playing the retired firefighter Snuffy Souza on Station 19. One nude scene isn't up to snuff, Peter! We got one look and now we need more. Oh no, we cannot get enough Peter Onorati!
