Philip Winchester got the acting bug early in life. He landed his first professional role at the age of 14 when the Steven Seagal action flick The Patriot (1998) was shooting near his home in Montana; he was discovered by a scout for the movie and offered a role. After graduating from high school, Philip headed to England, his mother’s home country, and studied at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. Since then, he has hit the big screen with roles as Scott Tracy in Thunderbirds (2004) with Bill Paxton, William Jensen in Flyboys(2006) with James Franco, Joey Kasinski in Rogue (2020) with Megan Fox, and Sam in A Week in Paradise(2022) with Malin Akerman. On TV, he starred as Robinson Crusoe in Crusoe from 2008-2009, Frank Stanton in Fringe from 2010-2011, Leontes in Camelot in 2011, Alex Kane in The Player in 2015, and Sgt. Michael Stonebridge on the popular British TV series Strike Back from 2010-2018. He’s also played the character Peter Stone on Chicago P.D., Chicago Justice, Chicago Med, and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, in various episodes from 2016-2019. Despite his movie appearances, the best place you can see Philip’s extremely fine form is on the little screen. As Peter Stone, you can catch him shirtless. But as Michael Stonebridge, you can see him slick and sweaty and gorgeous and fully naked when he fights off bad guys in the buff. There’s no full-frontal, but there’s butt! And Mr. Man has no exceptions to that.
