Proof (2005)

If your father is crazy, will you be crazy?  That’s one question a young woman struggles with in Proof (2005).  The daughter of a nutty professor tries to come to grips with the fact that dear old dad might have passed along the crazy gene while also dealing with one of his former students (Jake Gyllenhaal) who thinks that there might be a groundbreaking mathematical formula amongst the professor’s scribblings.  It’s enough to make anyone go a little insane.

Gyllenhall exudes brainiac sexiness throughout the movie.  When he finally consummates his passion with the professor’s daughter he goes to the head of the class.  His sweet seat thrusts mightily, but a covering sheet prevents it from landing it on the ass honor roll.
