We love a movie that just spells it out for us. Rio Sex Comedy (2011) takes place in Rio, includes lots of sex, and is indeed a comedy! Director Jonathan Nossiter provides an interesting cross section of the storied city through the eyes of a group of outsiders. Traveling to the city for various reasons, our protagonists, including the ageless Bill Pullman, each end up exploring different socio economic levels of Rio. We’re privileged to some laughs as well as little bit of regional knowledge.
