Before Tom Hardy became a hunky household name via Christopher Nolan blockbusters (2012’s The Dark Knight Rises, 2017’s Dunkirk), Alejandro G. Iñárritu’s Western The Revenant (2015) and George Miller’s action epic Mad Max: Fury Road (2015), he was flashing his flesh in the 13-minute movie Sergeant Slaughter, My Big Brother (2011). Thanks to the pen and direction of Greg Williams, the brief dramedy proves size doesn’t matter when delivering a quality story. As you can guess by the title, the plot centers around two brothers. When the older, tougher one named Dan (Hardy) decides to join the French Foreign Legion, he must leave his Mum (Gillian Bevan), Dad (Nathaniel Parker), and baby bro Keith (Ben Macleod) behind. This means the younger sibling has to learn to defend himself from a bully. Even though this film is short, it can make you long in the pants. Since Hardy spends the first few minutes of Sergeant Slaughter, My Big Brother completely naked, we wish he was on Celebrity Big Brother (2001-present) too. That way, the cameras would stay on his bare body 24/7. Nevertheless, we enjoy the shots we get — which begin almost immediately. Just one minute into the pic, topless Tom shows off his butt muscles as well as his love muscle!
