Singles (1992)

The episodic romantic comedy Singles (1992) focuses on a group of twenty-somethings friends and neighbors dwelling in Seattle, trying to find their way in life. There’s Janet (Bridget Fonda), a coffee server who gets her panties wet over Cliff (Matt Dillon), an aspiring musician in the grunge rock group Citizen Dick; Steve (Campbell Scott) and Linda (Kyra Sedgwick), a couple that’s going through a rough patch in their relationship; and Debbie (Sheila Kelley), an idealist still looking for the right dude. While following the flannel-wearing clan through the trials and tribulations of Generation X life, you’ll get a shirtless view of Campbell Scott while he makes time with his gal pal. And like a time capsule cracked open and thrown in your face, we are treated to some shirtless jamming from Alice in Chain members Jerry Cantrell and Layne Staley. Everyone knows the best way to jam is with your shirt off!
