Every married guy has a hideout where he takes his mistress or misteress to carry out a secret affair and indulge in their deepest sexual fantasies, right? Well, five hunks put their head’s together, along with their cash, and purchase a hideaway in the thriller The Loft (2014). Smug architect Vincent (Karl Urban), timidly quiet Luke (Wentworth Miller), kind-hearted psychiatrist Chris (James Marsden), horndog Marty (Eric Stonestreet), and psychopath Phillip (Matthias Schoenaerts) all are meandering about in their less-than-satisfying marriages. Cheating minds think a lot, so to quell the desires to have affairs with less of a chance of being caught, Vincent proposes the idea of collectively purchasing the titular locale. Done. It’s all fun and games until the pussy hounds discover the corpse of a strange blonde handcuffed to the bed in the fuck shack. While they are the only five people with keys to the joint, the dudes come together to try to solve the mystery of the dead blonde. During brighter, pre-dead blonde times, Karl Urban and James Marsden both bare their backsides while getting sexy and playful with their whores. The film needed more ass, less convoluted plot.
