Trance (2013)

An art auctioneer is sent on a bizarre head trip in Trance (2013). This mind-melting outing from Slumdog Millionaire director Danny Boyle stars James McAvoy as Simon, a meek employee of an auction house who hides a valuable work of art after learning that master thief Franck (Vincent Cassell) plans to steal it. Somewhere along the line, the painting disappears, and Franck tries to torture its location out of Simon. But Franck's rough treatment results only in a case of amnesia, so hypnotherapist Elizabeth (Rosario Dawson) is called in to hypnotize Simon and recover his memory of the painting. Forget art-- we know what we like, and it includes Vincent Cassel shirtless 57-minutes in. But the real piece de resistance is a glimpse of James McAvoy’s package 1-hour 8-minutes in as he pulls up his pants. Trance will mess-merize you!
