With a hand-full of TV episodes under his belt, Vladimir Burlakov was chosen to play the lead role of Marco Weiss in the German TV movie Marco W. – 247 Tage im türkischen Gefängnis (2011), aka Marco W. – 247 Days in Turkish Prison. He was 24 years old, playing a 17-year-old, and did such a great job, he won a Bavarian TV Award, and was nominated for a German Television Award, as well as the New Faces Award. Vladimir was born in Moscow, and moved to Munich, Germany, as a kid. He enrolled at Otto-Falckenberg School and studied drama, with the Marco W. movie being his breakthrough role. From there, he earned parts in multiple TV series, as well as big-screen features. As Thomas Posimski in the acclaimed mini-series Deutschland 83 (2015), he gets naked to skinny-dip, revealing a lean frame and a cute butt. He followed that role up with the same role three years later, playing the same character in Deutschland 86 (2018). In the intriguingly named mini-series Oktoberfest: Beer & Blood (2020), his Gustav Fierment character has sexy kissing times with his boyfriend, and he has a similar experience as Lou in the movie Stadtlandliebe (2016) (which Google translates as “city country love”; make of that what you will). As for what you might have seen Vladimir in if you haven’t been hanging out watching German TV shows or films, you may be able to locate him on Netflix, in the international category, playing Andi Wolf in the series Kleo in 2022. Or, in the film My Zoe (2019), a United Kingdom, Germany, France, United States production directed by and starring Julie Delpy. Or, you know, you could just watch him here on Mr. Man. We’ve got all the good stuff.
