Wide Sargasso Sea (1993)

Wide Sargasso Sea, originally a Jean Rhys novel and a prequel of sorts to Jane Eyre, got an NC-17 rating for its then-rampant nudity and awesome sex scenes. The story all takes place in Jamaica in the 1840s, right after all the Jamaican slaves were emancipated by the British and everything is in upheaval (and no one is making daquiris yet). A girl named Antoinette is forced to marry a sexy British guy (Nathaniel Parker) in order to get her inheritance from her dead father and crazy, reclusive mother, and she luckily falls in love with him. Unfortunately, he's quickly overwhelmed by her passion and tries to get as far away from her as possible and she goes crazy. We hate it when that happens. Needless to say, Nathaniel strips off his pants to bone his wife (and maybe a few other people) several times, showing his perfectly tones ass in the process!
