Yorgos Lanthimos is a director, producer, screenwriter, photographer, and Greek god. In other words, he’s all that and a bag of spanakopita! In fact, Mr. Man was spanking his peter when Colin Farrell dropped his drawers in Yorgos’s The Killing of a Sacred Deer (2017). No doubt, the frisky filmmaker learned a thing or two while studying at the Hellenic Cinema and Television School Stavrakos in his native Athens. Since then, Yorgos has directed short films (O viasmos tis Hlois, Uranisco Disco, Necktie); music videos (Deka Entoles, Ola Allazoun, Baby Asteroid); theater plays (D.D.D, Bluebeard, Platonov); and feature-length movies (Kinetta, Dogtooth, Alps). After revealing his… sense of humor in the comedy My Best Friend (2001), Lanthimos nabbed an Oscar nomination for writing the dystopian satire The Lobster (2015). Next came the provocative period piece The Favourite (2018). Billed as a black comedy, the R-rated movie features Olivia Colman’s Oscar-winning performance, Joe Alwyn’s chest, and Callum Lewin’s flesh. No wonder the celebrated film earned Yorgos Academy Award nominations for Best Director and Best Picture! As impressive as that is, we’re more impressed with the swarthy stunner’s shirtless performance in front of the camera. In the romantic drama Attenberg (2010), Yorgos shows off his acting chops as well as his bare body! During a sex scene, the naked babe lets us see his PB&J (pubes, balls and Johnson) as a lucky lady lays on top of him. When she moves down to blow him, we get a better view of the nude dude. Opa!
