Debuting in 2014, Agatha Raisin is a witty British comedy based on the book series of the same name by M.C. Beaton. Ms. Raisin is a PR expert who excels at getting celebs out of some hostile situations, who abandons her high-stress life in London in favor of the more laid-back English countryside. It doesn’t take Agatha long to get in over her head when the close-knit town accuses her of a murder that takes place at the quiche festival. Yes, her quiche killed a judge, and everyone accused her of poisoning him, so she had to set out and solve that murder. When she clears her name, Agatha realizes that she has a unique talent for solving murders. Now, Agatha is a sort of detective solving all sorts of murders in the small town of Carsely. Yes, like so many other British series, this one takes place in a small cottage village that has a higher murder rate than Mexico City, for no good reason. Through humor and intellect, Agatha always gets her man! Speaking of getting men, you’ll really be doing some Raisin in your pants when you see yogi Dijohn Singh bare his beautiful buns in front of a crowd!
