AJ and the Queen (2020)

The first, last and only season of the Netflix original series AJ and the Queen (2020) features RuPaul as Robert, a drag queen who goes by the stage name Ruby Red. While traveling all over the country performing, Ruby meets a kid named Amber Jasmine Douglas (Izzy G.) who is called AJ. As you might guess, the two become friends as they encounter a bevy of infamous drag queens and hot men. The latter includes Officer Patrick Kennedy (Matthew Wilkas) who shows off his muscular guns and arresting abs in episode 2 and 7, wherein he also dons sexy skivvies. By episode 10, the topless cop wears nothing but a towel as he smooches a dude. Meanwhile, Hector (Josh Segarra) sucks face with RuPaul. That is, when he’s not displaying his naked T&A. If that’s not arousing enough, the same episode features views of a nude Jordan (Constantine Rousouli). At the risk of repetition, Ru makes out with Darrell (Kevin Daniels) in episode 7 which includes shots of Kevin’s ebony chest. Did we mention that Officer Kennedy and Louis Bell/Cocoa Butter (Michael-Leon Wooley) get it on in episode 5? In other words, just because this TV-14 comedy was short-lived, doesn’t mean it won’t make you long in the pants! The show also includes Adrienne Barbeau as Helen; Jane Krakowski as Beth Barnes Beagle; Mary Kay Place as Carolanne; Tia Carrere as Leilani Kala’i/Lady Danger; and Lorraine Bracco as herself. Of course, when it comes to the cast, the drag queens are king!
