Ask the Dust (2006)

Ask the Dust (2006) has big written all over it. First, it's directed by Robert Towne, the man responsible for Chinatown (1974). Second, it's based on a novel by John Fante, the original Los Angeles literary bum, from whom Charles Bukowski got most of his shtick. Third, and biggest of all, it stars Colin Farrell. Look out for a scene where Colin strips down and plays in the waves with Selma Hayek. Colin’s buoyant buns bounce around in the water, and we even catch some looks at the little sailor!
