Between the Sheets (2003)

Between the Sheets (2003) is a skinteresting British TV miniseries featuring more beautiful bums than you can shake a cricket paddle at. The ensemble cast gets into a tangled web of interlocking storylines creating a comical yet touching decidedly British rump – we mean romp.

Longtime married couple Peter (Alun Armstrong) and Hazel’s relationship is on the rocks. Peter is hiding some of his business ventures, and Hazel (Brenda Blethyn), we hope you’re sitting down for this, has never had an orgasm. Their therapist (Julie Graham) has her own relationship drama, as her man Paul (Richard Armitage) is accused of having relations with an underage girl. Entwined in this mess is also Hazel and Peter’s son’s relationship and Peter’s mother’s sexual awakening. Believe it or not there are other storylines as well, but we don’t want to spoil everything for you!

Now, let’s go over the butts. We hope you have your pen and paper ready, because there’s a lot to cover. Richard Armitage’s arse makes an appearance multiple times in Between the Sheets. It’s beautiful, plump, and although we mostly see it in thrusting mode, we also get a close-up as it gets a massage. Why can’t we be those hands? Dean Andrew’s butt makes a brief appearance as it goes diving for goodies in the bathtub. Alun Armstrong’s sophisticated back pillows make a couple of appearances, but we don’t get to feel like we really know them.
