Birthday Boy: Paul Thomas Anderson

Widely regarded as one of the bestif notthebestdirectors of this generation,Paul Thomas Andersonturns 45 today, and to celebrate, we're taking a look at some of the best male nudity in three of his most celebrated films!

With his second film, Boogie Nights, Anderson became an overnight sensation, not least of all because he presented such a loving portrait of the often derided porn industry! The film's pice de rsistance was the unveiling of Dirk Diggler's giant penis at the end of the film, and though it did belong to a body double, Mark Wahlberg's butt was visible several times earlier in the film!



His follow-up film, the highly divisive Magnolia, was hailed as a masterpiece by many and total trash by others, buteven the haters can agree thatTom Cruise's bulging undies and macho posturing ispretty fantastic!
