It doesn't matter if you're into feet, whips, chains, or some freaky fetish even we haven't heard of here at Skin Central, you're not as kinky as the dude in Boxing Helena (1993). In just her early twenties at the time, David Lynch's daughter Jennifer Chambers Lynch wrote and directed this insane tale of limb hacking and lovemaking. It's even weirder than most of her dad's stuff, if you can believe it! In the film, Dr. Nick Cavanaugh (Julian Sands) is a top surgeon obsessed with his busty neighbor/former one night stand, Helena (Sherilyn Fenn). When Nick’s attempt to woo his crush fails, tragic consequences occur. After Helena is a victim of a horrific hit and run accident in front of Nick’s home, the deadly doctor kidnaps the wounded woman and takes her health into his own hands, leading to some unnecessary medical procedures. He chops her legs off and keeps his plaything in a box, but she's constantly roasting him for being an unlovable loser. When she chokes him, he chops her arms off, but that quick wit and stinging mouth of hers refuse to quit. Ray O’Malley (Bill Paxton), Helena’s ex-lover, starts searching for her, threatening to end Nick's reign of terror. A truly critically reviled film, it's hard to explain how strange the tone of the movie is, with Helena seeming to be more annoyed than horrified that Dr. Nick keeps lopping off her limbs. Thankfully, the shaggy haired Paxton is a ray of light in the film, fearlessly flashing his fleshy flank in a lasting love scene where the doc creepily watches Ray put his cock all up in Helena's box. Once he's done peeping, Sands shows skin in a raucous romp with a prostitute who sort of looks like Helena but doesn't quite hit the spot. The demented doc lets us see his ass doing some thrusting, but never lets us see his meaty dong. Sure, it's a weird one, but Mr. Man would have to amputate his hand to keep from touching himself to Boxing Helena
