Brawl in Cell Block 99 (2017)

Who’s up for a Brawl in Cell Block 99 (2017)? Not to be confused with Jesús Franco’s skinternational pic Women in Cellblock 9 (1977), S. Craig Zahler’s American flick follows Bradley Thomas (Vince Vaughn), an unlucky dude who lost his job and found out his cheating wife Lauren (Jennifer Carpenter) has a baby on the way. Brad’s not sure what to do for dough so he starts dealing drugs. Needless to say, twists and turns ensue due to drug trafficker and gang leader Eleazar (Dion Mucciacito), his henchman The Placid Man (Udo Kier), drug runner Roman (Geno Segers), and Bradley’s drug trafficking boss Gil (Marc Blucas). One thing leads to another and the next thing you know, Brad is busted and sentenced to seven years in prison run by Warden Tuggs (Don Johnson). Things get even worse when Eleazar’s gang kidnaps Lauren and threatens to perform an experimental operation on the baby unless Brad kills one of the inmates in Cell Block 99. Inspired by the grindhouse movies of the 1970s, this neo-noir action thriller becomes more thrilling as Mr. Vaughn’s character is asked to strip when he enters the big house 49 minutes into the flick. First, the big guy removes his shirt to reveal  his bare chest. When the trousers come off, you may get off from seeing Vince in his boxer shorts. If that’s not arousing enough, the skintastic actor pulls down his undies to expose his bare butt. Mr. Man would love to get intimate with this inmate!
