Californication (2007-2014)

The hit Showtime series Californication is packed with so much sex and nudity you barely catch your breath from one nude scene when another arrives. Following the life of writer, drunk, and all-purpose hell raiser Hank Moody (David Duchovny), Californication is funny, dramatic, naked and damn good.

This series is one of the rare shows that has nearly as much male nudity as female nudity. They strive for Skinequality and star David Duchovny leads the way. It seems not an episode goes by that he isn’t at least shirtless and/or in his tight underwear that show off a bulge large enough that if the acting gig doesn’t work, David has a future in using that meat hammer to hang sheetrock. He doesn’t just leave it alone there. David’s bare booty has graced the screen during several episodes. We see him making love, walking around naked, skinny dipping and even getting into some pretty wild, naked party scenes.

Co-star Evan Handler also has several nude scenes throughout the season. His bald head and tight tush are the yin to David’s yang. His masturbation scene in one episode turns into an ongoing joke and is hysterical and erotic at the same time.  There are other co-stars and recurring cast members that find their way out of their clothes as well. Most of the main male stars of this show seem to have at least one nude scene.

The truth is out there. Californication is one of the most Skintastic shows on television and it is one of the best sources of male nudity on cable today.
